القصة

عندما يقارب الانسان على الموت تظهر حلقة رمادية خفية حول عنقةمع مرور الوقت تصبح الحلقة مظلمة حتى تصبح شديدة السواد فيحين الوقت لموت الانسان.Kita Michiru لديها القدرة Shinigami eyes نعم مايسمى بـــ عين الشنجامي تسمح لها برؤية الحلقة .عندما لاحظة Michiru ان اثنين من طلاب صفها Akatsuki Chika و Tachibana Shito ليس لديهما الحلقة, بل و شديدة و قاتمة السواد فعندما سألتهم اخبروها اهم كانوا يجب عليهم الموت قبل 6 اشهر في حادث لكن مع مساعدة من Zombie Loan قد منحوا فرصة اخرى في الحياة.ملاحظة loan تعني القرض يعني انهم يقرضوهم فرصة اخرى و رد الدين يكون بي.بقتل الــ malicious zombies او الاحيا الاموات المحتالين.و طلبوا من Michiru مساعدتهم.و سوف يغيرون مصير البشرية.
